In Muotkan village, we welcome our guests as if they were at home. All our cottages offer an authentic and comfortable stay right in the heart of the Muotkantunturi Natural Reserve. Each lodge is unique and provides a sense of freedom and intimacy.
To maintain the authenticity of the place, each cottage retains its original name given by Hans, the esteemed and friendly former owner of Muotkan. Whether it’s Ailigas, Riekko, Kiruna, each has its own unique story.
To enhance your experience, we invite you to taste our homemade specialties in our nearly 100-year-old restaurant, situated just over the hill from our village.
For your convenience, we also offer a true Lappish sauna either by the riverbank or privately within your cottage.

You can rent our traditional sauna, which we will heat for you at your convenience, offering a selection of traditional sauna oils to make it a memorable experience of relaxation and disconnection.
Additionally, we have 2 great Kota huts with a fireplace and barbecue, providing a cozy atmosphere for sharing your adventures.
And of course, you can enjoy our tasty food at the famous Muotkan Ruoktu restaurant!
