Location and accessibility
Tunturikylä Muotkan Ruoktu is located in the northern part of the Inari municipality, along the Kaamanen – Karigasniemi road, by the Peltojoki River.
Distances to Muotkan Ruoktu by Road:
From the South, we are 100 km from Ivalo (1h15) and 56 km from Inari (40 min).
From the North, we are 23 km from the Kaamanen road junction (Utsjoki/Karigasniemi road junction) and approximately 45 km from Karigasniemi.
You can reach Muotkan Ruoktu:
- By car easily following the Road A92.
- From Rovaniemi, Ivalo, or Inari to Karigasniemi, there are two daily bus services. One is operated by a postal bus, and the other by Eskelisen Lapin Linjat.
- You can reach Ivalo by either flying to Ivalo or taking a bus from airport in Rovaniemi.
