Our restaurant serves dishes crafted with a passion for good food, from Lappish recipes and ingredients from our forests and rivers, with a French and Polish touch. Cabin guests, hikers and travellers heading north are all welcome.

A legendary place, handed on with care
In the northern part of the Inari region, on the banks of the Peltojoki River, lies a village in the midst of nature called Muotkan Ruoktu Tunturikylä, the "Tunturi Mountain Chalet", run since 1967 by the charismatic reindeer herder Hans Niittyvuopio and his Sami family.
For over 50 years, it has been a true oasis for travellers from all over the world, seeking peace, wilderness and a place off the beaten path in the Arctics.
Since autumn 2023, Hans has officially handed this mythical place over to us. He chose us for our values, our travel philosophy and our wish to preserve the authenticity of this legendary place.
